As far as I know DJ Clem has always been this way. Just kind of awesome all over the place without meaning to be. His zither skills far exceed the realm of humanly possible. You can't tell from this photo but he plays the 3-necked franken-steel in addition to guitar and mandolin. His steel work makes you love the midwest for its gigantic open skies. He's a native of Joplin, MO. In his spare time he plays in more bands than most would care to count, most notably Mr. Marco's V7, and The People's Liberation Big Band of Greater Kansas City.
In the intervening yar since this page was made Clem has stepped away to pursue his other projects. Most notably (read for which I bet he wins a grammy) is the Grisly Hand.
